A body of up to 5 kg filled with 1,6 kg high explosive munitions has to survive a of fall of 12 meters onto concrete without damaging the electronic detonator. The refractability has to be checked in a bath of flames of 4.000 litre kerosene for at least 20 minutes. In case of detonation the scatter band must not exceed 200 meters.

Pactec solved this challenge with a wooden box and foam cushions. It has the same expansion feasibility so that the packaging collapses in single parts in case of explosion. The duration until the detonation has even been 30 minutes!

The German federal agency for material research and examination approved this packaging.
