The Austrian Federal Ministry of agriculture and forestry, environment and water management has developed an official distinction for very environment-friendly products and services.

Products which meet a broad list of criteria regarding environment, health and performance characteristics are allowed to wear the "Österreichisches Umweltzeichen" (Austrian Environment Emblem) for four years.

The main goal is to start a process that leads to more environment-friendly products and services.

The mattress "Twist BioVital" (developed by JOKA Werke Johann Kapsamer GmbH & CoKG, Schwanenstadt, Austria) meets all the requirements. JOKA has - as the first Austrian mattress producer - received the distinction "Österreichisches Umweltzeichen". "Twist BioVital" consists of NAWAPUR Wellness and NAWAPUR Relax.
