The new NAWAPUR Energy Foam is available as mattress core for high quality sleeping systems. In December 2004 Eurofoam started production of this new foam with verenda-oil. “Now we are putting it in the mattress”, explains Manfred Marchgraber, General Manager of Eurofoam. The new energy foam is based on a natural oil from re-growing raw materials.

Marbled colour
NAWAPUR Energy Foam is available in two colours – marbled beige/green and marbled beige/red. The marbled colour symbolizes the positive energy and the verenda-oil in the mattress core. Furthermore NAWAPUR Energy Foam is elastic, stable and anti-allergic. Its opencell structure allows a healthy ventilation – the perfect cutting technology supports an ergonomic position of the body.

With the production of NAWAPUR Energy Foam Eurofoam supports a trend in the industry. “Foam made of re-growing raw materials is more and more used in production.”, says Manfred Marchgraber, General Manger of Eurofoam. NAWAPUR Energy Foam consists of polyurethane and verenda-oil.

Valuable oil
Verenda-oil is gained from the seeds of an ancient medical plant. The oldest seeds were found in Egypt and date back two thousand years before Christ. At that time already doctors used the oil as a remedy. The plant grows in tropical and subtropical areas and can reach a height of up to 12 meters and can become up to 4 years old.
