Five years ago four Hungarian companies decided - besides other ways of supporting suppliers and consumers - to award a quality price. Every Hungarian production company can participate at this competition.

The application had to be submitted together with product samples, quality certificates, an explication regarding the different applications and a report on the market situation. The biggest challenge for the team of Eurofoam Hungary proved to be to illustrate the various applications of the PORÁN®-product range.

The documentation showed the part that foam is playing in our everyday lives, as most of the consumers never get into direct contact with foam.

These efforts for education and of course also the high quality of the PORÁN®-foams seem to have impressed the jury and Eurofoam Hungary can be pleased with the "Hungarian Product"-award.

However, as mentioned in previous reports, Greiner Group companies are only partially dependent upon the economic cycle. Accordingly, just as the effects on results of the positive economic circumstances in 2000 were limited, the full brunt of the problematic situation in the year under review was also avoided.
