Opening of the new Eurofoam pactec production unit

On November 9th, Eurofoam pactec
welcomed various guest for the official opening of the brand new
production unit. Manfred Marchgraber (General Manager Eurofoam)
explained: " It was a mainly economical decision to expand
on the site in Kremsmünster. Due to the nearby already existing
Eurofoam production we could use many synergies."

Within only six months a new production hall
together with new offices for 4,5 million Euro were built. Celebrities
from politics and economy came to the official opening. In the afternoon
an entertainment program for the pactec staff was organized. The
polyurethane-packings produced in the new plant are highly specialized
products for different applications - soft or solid, as moulded
forms or semi-finished products. These products are used in the
field of technical engineering as well as from industries supplying
the automotive industry. Or as a solution for transport, protecting
modules and presentation displays.

Actually 41 people are employed in the plant
and the ground offers place for expansion. Manfred Marchgraber defines
the next target: "We want to internationalize Eurofoam pactec
and reach in 2005 a turnover of 15,5 million Euro."
