At the "Design for Europe"-competition in Kortrijk (Belgium), an international jury assessed 313 projects from 24 countries.

The "mimi"-seating furniture project was awarded the first prize of the Biennale Interieur 98. "mimi" was developed by designer Andreas G. Thaler in co-operation with Eurofoam Kremsmuenster.
